Modernism
With my large-scale paintings, I invite you to pause and truly see. Inspired by the bold vision of American modernism and the works of Georgia O’Keeffe, I focus on the monumental beauty found in the everyday—a single flower in full bloom, a leaf, a shell, or a fragment of nature that might otherwise pass unnoticed in our hurried lives.

By magnifying these subjects to a grand scale, I encourage you to step back and experience the “big picture.” The flowing forms and vibrant colors are meant to immerse you, drawing your attention to the quiet power and subtle complexity of things we often overlook. In these works, every curve, petal, and shadow becomes a landscape of its own, inviting contemplation and wonder.

This approach stands in deliberate contrast to my abstract paintings, which create an intimate, personal dialogue through small dimensions and layered details. Here, with my large canvases, I hope to offer a moment of stillness—a space where you can lose yourself in the beauty of the natural world, and perhaps rediscover the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Let these paintings be an invitation to slow down, to look deeply, and to find meaning and connection in the forms that surround us every day.
